Frequently Asked Questions

  • Both the ceremony and reception are at Paletta Mansion in Burlington, ON. The closest major intersection is Walkers Line and Lakeshore Road.

  • There is free parking onsite, but if you plan on drinking, we encourage you to carpool or find alternative transportation!

  • The dress code for our wedding is formal. For examples of this dress code, please check out our Pinterest Board.

For men, this means a dark (black, charcoal, navy, etc.) coloured suit, a tie, and dress shoes.

For women, this means an ankle or floor length dress in a formal fabric, or a dressy jumpsuit. The ceremony and reception will be on solid flooring, so wear whatever formal footwear you’d like! Formal cultural wear is also appropriate.

Please avoid wearing colours traditionally associated with bridal wear (white, cream, champagne, etc.)

For those who would like to avoid the wedding party colours (although this is not necessary!), the bridesmaids will be wearing maroon.

  • While we are hopeful that our ceremony will be held outdoors, we recognize that it is in November in Canada.

If the forecast calls for cold/inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors. The reception will be held indoors regardless of the weather, with an option to explore the terrace during cocktail hour/dancing.

There will be coat racks to hang up coats/jackets.

  • We will be hosting a full open bar, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options. The bar will be closed during dinner, but there will be table wine served during the meal. We hope everyone enjoys themselves, but please drink responsibly!

  • Although we love your children dearly, our wedding will be a 19+ event. Let this be your date night away from the kids, and let loose!

  • Invitations will be addressed to each person invited to our wedding. If your envelope includes the phrase “and Guest”, you may bring a 19+-year-old plus one of your choosing. Please ensure to enter their full name when RSVPing.

Unfortunately, our venue does not have a large capacity, and we cannot provide a plus one to every guest.

  • Please RSVP by October 2nd, 2026. After this date, we will unfortunately be unable to accommodate additional guests, and will miss your presence on our big day!

  • Prior to November 1st, 2026, please direct your questions to Abby at 416-346-6844. After that date, please direct your questions to Carolyn King, mother of the bride, at 416-435-2676.
